Kelley Smith
Kelley Smith is a lifelong resident of Oklahoma. She is an adjunct instructor in Microsoft Excel at Metro Technology Center, and enjoys finding unconventional ways to use computer software.
She worked for sixteen years in the electric utility industry. Her work in industry included econometric modeling and forecasting, load research, business planning, and required a considerable amount of technical writing. She has edited newsletters for two different non-profit groups. Kelley was a Camp Fire leader for six years, and served as Public Relations Coordinator for Area 7 of Camp Fire USA Heart of Oklahoma Council.
She also writes for Examiner.com and is an avid reader and persistent herb and vegetable gardener. Kelley is interested in ecological economics, natural sciences, bicycling, and crafts.
Kelley received a B.S. in marketing with minors in math and economics and an M.S. in economics with a minor in statistics from Oklahoma State University. She has completed additional course work in computer science and natural sciences.
